From the Journals: DAY 22

Coach Hot Springs, NC - Jones M.. Campsite: 22.2mi -Enjoyed a 5 course meal: TRAIL MAGIC -Night hiking by the moon -Epic day + Side trail to tower (0.8mi) -Psychology of trailrunning on Professor is starting to work.

Professor

"Hey there fellas, the older man said as Coach and walked up the driveway following signs to "trail magic." A labradoodle bounded up playfully alongside us. "My name is Hercules, would you like something to drink?" And thus began a 5 course meal of trail magic:

1.Root beer floats (2 scoops of icecream and frosty mugs)

2.Belgian waffles from scratch

3. Hot fresh homemade bread

4. Vegetable pork stew

5. Banana split with all the toppings

Hercules turned out to be a missionary, we had a good conversation about absolute truth, heaven and hell, reincarnation, and the half gallon ice cream challenge. After respectfully declining his books and DVDs (pack weight!) we went on our way.
