UPDATE: Coach and the Professor arrived in Franklin, North Carolina yesterday, March 2, one entire day ahead of schedule. They showered, bought some clothes at the local K-Mart (having nothing else to wear while they laundered their gear), and put down an Appetizer Sampler and 50 wings at the local Sports Bar. Mileage-wise, they have hiked 107.5 miles in six days. Today they are enjoying a "Zero" Day and nursing a blister or two. Otherwise, they feel great.
